Help yourself, Help others
We need to take care of our own physical and mental health before we can take care of others effectively. Yoga and meditation are an excellent tool to help us become more aware of our own needs and more able to understand the needs of others. As we work on becoming more aware of those needs we should practice non-violence - being kind to ourselves and others. Kind words and kind actions. Not allowing your own feelings or those of others to be hurt by any harsh words.
